We are selling our own smiley cutting boards.
This is a premium cutting board made with sturdy Maple and inlayed with Walnut accents.
It is finished with 3 coats of food grade quality beeswax oil.

Our smiley board is strong enough to be a cutting board and fun enough to be a serving board as well. This particular board pictured above is standard size 12.5 round and .6″ thick Price: 30$ plus shipping.


Want to add a handle? We can do that just add $15 to the total. We can provide a 3D rendering if you want to see what it will look like beforehand.

Maple: For every extra 2″ above the standard size (12″) add 5$. So a round board 14.5″ would cost $35 plus shipping.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.

HOW DO I ORDER?
Just email us at betterwoodworks@gmail.com with the items you want to purchase along with your shipping address. We will then determine shipping cost along with lead time then send you back an email with the total cost.

For payment, once you email us with your order and shipping address we will calculate the total and send you an invoice through Paypal.

Please let us know if you would like insurance. We do not insure packages unless requested, if you would like insurance please let me know. FedEx charges for insurance. If an item is damaged in transit and you did not elect insurance, we can not be responsible for damages. You must file claim with the shipping carrier.

HOW DO YOU SHIP?
We primary use FedEx for shipping,  FedEx also has a better home delivery service and delivers Tuesday thru Saturday.

ONCE I PAY, HOW CAN I GUARANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We promise you will receive your order. We ship twice a week, most all orders ship within 7 to 10 days except for engraving orders and custom/non stock items.

HOW LONG WILL MY BOARD STAY NEW LOOKING?
As you use your board, the more worn it will look with scratches and knife markings, this is normal.

HOW SHOULD I CARE MY BOARD?
If you are looking for a hard finish we would suggest a ‘Salad Bowl’ finish. It is a hard and glossy finish and will last a long time, it will also help to prevent staining of the wood. The Salad Bowl finish is food safe but like all finishes it will eventually wear. The Salad Bowl finish is more costly, requires 4-5 coats and takes 24 hours to dry between each coat. If you are interest in the Salad Bowl finish, email us and I will be glad to give you a quote.

HOW DO YOU FINISH EACH BOARDS?
We finish all boards with a food safe beeswax.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER?
All of our items are crafted one at a time once we receive an order. Normal lead time is 5 to 7 days

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept PayPal. Personal checks are acceptable but we have to delay shipment until your check clears. If you’d like to use a different form of payment, just contact us!

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COST AND WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We ship within the United States and Canada only. The total shipping cost is based on your delivery address zip code, weight of package, commercial, residential or extended rural residential delivery for ground service. If you would like a service other then ground, please let me know. We do not make money on shipping, the shipping cost we give you is what we have to pay.

Before ordering, please email us with your order details and your complete shipping address so I can give you the shipping cost before payment, please email me at betterwoodworks@gmail.com . We do not ship to PO Box addresses and we do not ship USPS. Our preferred carrier is FedEx.

MY PACKAGE HASN’T ARRIVED BUT THE TRACKING # SAYS IT HAS BEEN DELIVERED?
Please contact your FedEx office as we are not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen packages or damage.

 

RETURNS?
We personally pack each and every item shipped, from selecting the right size box, packing materials to protect the item and taping the box properly. Insurance is available for each package shipped at a cost but you must request insurance when requesting pricing. Once shipped, the package  contents belong to the purchaser. Better Wood Works is not responsible for damage by the carrier, i.e. FedEx.

Returns are accepted within 24 hours of receipt of the package, you must email me within 24 hours. Please include a written explanation for the return. Item(s) must be in it original condition with no damage, cuts etc. Package item(s) securely, and ship with tracking back to me. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will inspect and will issue a refund for the cost of the item (buyer pays shipping). If there is an issue with the items condition we will email you.
